Caselli Market Garden is a small-scale micro-farm just east of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, run by Ian Caselli. Focused on nutrient-dense crops like arugula, lettuce, basil, microgreens, and cherry tomatoes, the garden uses intensive, sustainable growing methods on a compact 4,000 sq ft plot. Instead of farmers markets, Caselli runs an online ordering system with convenient weekly pickups, and often collaborates with other local growers to strengthen the Sioux Falls local food community.
About the Suppliers
Mayborn Acres can trace its roots to when they cut processed foods from their diet. The more real, local food they ate, the better they felt and the more energy they had. As time went on, others expressed interest and they started providing the same ethically raised, nutritious, and delicious pastured poultry, serving locals clean meat.
Cherry Rock Farms has been family owned and operated since 1925. John Picasso came to Sioux Falls in 1905 from Genoa, Italy. He worked at local greenhouses where he grew his love for gardening. In 1925, he opened a market called Cherry Rock Gardens on the Big Sioux River. It quickly became a household name for the high quality of produce at a reasonable price.
